I don’t know too many people who enjoy listening to Tom Waits but it seems that those who do really enjoy listening to Tom Waits.  After listening to a few tracks and growing accustomed to his distinctly unique voice it’s easy to see why.  Waits has a voice like no other – a voice that, once you begin to like you begin to love – a voice as unique as Bob Dylan’s or Joanna Newsom’s though unique in a completely different spectrum.

My close friend gave me Swordfishtrombonesas an early Christmas gift.  Before this the only album of Waits’ that I had listened to was Rain Dogs which is another fantastic album (which I will admit I’ve only listened to a handful of times…this must be corrected…)

Anyways, today you get the title track from Swordfishtrombones.  One of the lovely…
