Shred master Michael Angelo Batio is one heck of a dynamic guitar player. Known for his neoclassical shredding and ambidextrous style, he is becoming a widely recognized guitarist. He got voted in publications like Guitar World Magazine, as the fastest guitar player. He even draws a lot of influence from not only the classics of rock music: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jeff Beck, but even all kinds of music like jazz musicians like George Benson and Django Reinhardt. A video is here of Batio talking about his musical interests.
Interesting guitarists you write about, unusual and good! This is what I like doing myself, although not as often as you, unfortunately. Could I introduce to my favourite singer, just wrote about him yesterday – you may appreciate his talent? 🙂

Oh yes you may. I do not mind exploring new guitarists. Most of the guitarists I look into are the ones that do not get a lot of media attention.

This is a singer but a very very good one! And certainly needs more media attention, any reblogging and sharing will be much appreciated. 🙂

What is the singer’s name? Well Michael Batio is starting to get a lot of attention. I am aware that he has played over thousands of shows.

DC Cooper. He is on the front page of my blog as I wrote about him yesterday. Can’t post the link at the moment as I am on my phone, but you’ll see the post as as you open my blog.

I shall look into him more. A band that you should take your time listening to is Dragonforce. They have released six studio albums since being established in the late 1990s. Check out their latest studio album, “Maximum Overload.” The band is also known to have a lot of technical diversity in thier music.

No. I missed them this year, shame on you. On my bucket list now, though! Have you?

Ha not my fault Angie! Yes I did. Hammerstein Ballroom March of this year. And the next day, I saw three other bands.

They were in London on 14 February which is the date when I lost my mum…. So not best time for me. There will be another chance I hope. What other bands did you see?

Tyr, Death Angel, and Children of Bodom. Funny that you said London because I saw Eric Clapton as well. But that was later.

What I went to this year is Royal Hunt (DC Cooper’s band), Europe, Foreigner and FM. Not too heavy at all, but good.

2015 is suppose to be a good year because I have a few bands on my radar. I could either see the Foo Fighters or Anthrax. But I also have Nightwish or Dragonforce. However, I have school so I might not be able to see those bands. Still, I can always see Foo Fighters or Anthrax. But I have always wanted to see Metallica. Hopefully they will get done releasing their studio album next year. I also have Symphony X on my radar, but I do not know when they will schedule their tours. I am aware though they will be completing a studio album by March of 2015.

Yes, I do hope for SX myself – another band I missed last year. I have seen Metallica in 1999, or was it 1998, but would love to see them again.
